Your health and safety are our top priorities. The guidelines below support a safe and comfortable experience for everyone. These requirements apply to all participants—attendees, instructors, staff, contractors, vendors, and partners.
We encourage participants to stay up to date with CDC-recommended COVID-19 vaccines to reduce risk of severe illness.
Masking requirements may vary by event, location, and venue rules. If you become unwell or develop symptoms while on site, please wear a face covering and notify staff if you need assistance.
We work with each venue to maintain robust cleaning standards. Please practice good hand hygiene and use provided sanitizer stations.
Before arriving each day, please self-monitor for symptoms. If you feel unwell, develop symptoms of a communicable illness, or have a recent high-risk exposure, please do not attend and follow the guidance of your healthcare provider.
Please review any advisories or restrictions that may be in place for travel to the United States and to the event’s state.
A risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any event or public space, including Sewtopia events & classes. Prior to purchasing a ticket and attending, please review the latest CDC Guidelines for Prevention.
By attending Sewtopia events or classes, you acknowledge this inherent risk and, as a condition of entry, confirm the following in accordance with applicable health guidance:
Compliance: If at any point you cannot meet these criteria or decline to follow Sewtopia or venue health rules, you may be asked to leave at Sewtopia’s sole discretion. See our Terms & Conditions for details on removal without refund.
If you require medical assistance during an event or class, please notify Sewtopia staff or venue staff immediately. In an emergency, venue security and/or local emergency services will be contacted. Follow posted venue instructions and staff guidance.
Event/class tickets are non-refundable. For full details (including Sewtopia-assisted resale timelines and fees), please see our Terms & Conditions.
Mask requirements may vary by event and venue. If masks are required, signage will be posted and staff will advise. If you begin to feel unwell on site, please wear a face covering out of consideration for others.
If an event requires face coverings and you need an accommodation, please email [email protected] in advance. We’ll work with you and the venue in line with applicable laws and safety protocols.
Additional measures Sewtopia may implement (as needed):
All participants are expected to comply with posted policies and staff instructions. By attending, you agree to follow Sewtopia’s health & safety requirements and the venue’s rules. Non-compliance may result in removal per our Terms & Conditions.
Testing and results are handled by individuals and their healthcare providers according to applicable protocols. Providers may report results to health authorities as required by law. Personal results are not shared with Sewtopia.
Per CDC guidance, anyone who tests positive should notify their close contacts so they can follow current recommendations. If Sewtopia becomes aware of a positive case in connection with an event, we will follow any applicable public health guidance.
No. Personal health information is private and managed between you, your provider, and public health authorities as applicable. Please follow current CDC guidance and notify close contacts as appropriate.
If you have tested positive or believe you currently have a communicable illness, you should not attend or remain at the event. If you have a recent exposure, consult your healthcare provider and follow CDC recommendations.
